Ah. So the removal of tokens for willpower, leadership, etc. doesn't trigger Gaea damage? Just the "clearing" at end of the turn. So it's feasible in a game as long as he's not having a turn where he's pushed and failed willpower, he won't take the damage.
The hindering thing didn't feel like much of a perk as Man-Thing is vulnerable to either Murn or whoever the top IT: Hindering ranged attackers turn out to be.

No. From Section 9.4A of the comp:
Quote
A character only “clears” when it removes its action tokens during the Clear Phase of the turn. Removing an action token by any other effect is not considered “clearing” action tokens.

Does Seth not come into the game when his avatar is KO’d?and choosing Seth’s avatar is a Sideline affect, then how does he choose an avatar and be on the map for his other trait to trigger when Seth is KOd? What am I missing?

I think Seth is more like the Egyptians from Next Phase. Because he was worshiped by the Egyptians. Pretty cool little design detail I think.
