Not just Europe on this one. It still isn't at any Alliance warehouse, or at least not processed/allocated, so I expect another delay to be announced today ... hopefully today!
It's not just Black Panther. Our store has been trying to reorder recent sets and the most recent set they can get is WOV. No DWX, no MoT.
Most Wanted:DC Super Friends - El Dorado, Rima.
Finish the classic Legion of Super-Heroes - Light(ning) Lass, Ferro Lad, Chemical King, Quizlet.

And yet WoV is the set WK made a big deal out of being sold out...
Waller KOs: AA Robin, Kid Devil, Joker, Question; AW E Cap; FCBD Iron Man; Miracle/Oberon; John Stewart x2, Iron Patriot; Shatterstar; IH Herc; CW Photon & Nitro; FF Nite Owl; 10An R Thor, E Iron Man, Weapon X; FF Kilowog; Hugo Strange; Calender Man; Legion Cosmic Boy & Lightning Lad, LE Pete Wisdom
The Diamond retailers' system now shows a street date of 12/11 for the "release day" and 2 OP kits...
I know that Diamond and Alliance are the "Same Company" but they don't show anything and deal far more with the gaming side of the business so I would go by that over anything at the moment.

Just a discouraging tidbit of info-
The Diamond retailers' system now shows a street date of 12/11 for the "release day" and 2 OP kits...
And Alliance shows 1/1/2029. (yes, I know it's a placeholder date)
BUT
Release day kits and 1 of the PaH kits showed up in the east today, so HOPEFULLY it'll all get distributed from alliance next week.
Optimists unite!
and the irony of the 2012 and on "game is dying" list is that in 2008 the game did (temporarily) die. People were still playing but it wasn't published for over a year.

I'm sorry, how that the optimist side? The optimist side should be it being delayed until at least 12/18, to keep the environment at all State Championships the same and prevent distribution issues from affecting some players being able to obtain elements and others not.

I read somewhere in the last few days that some group had decided BP would not be allowed in their events to prevent this very problem.
I no longer remember where or what group.

Everyone has their own priorities, and certainly if you’re a player anxious to get Black Panther in hand (and especially if you pre-paid for it), that’s more important than whatever is done with States or other events.
And for States, they’ll likely have to go with just not having BP at all during its run. Being legal one week after release would normally be fine, but there’s the question of when it will be properly errata’d. There’s obvious stuff that should be Day 1 errata for a delayed set, but often WK doesn’t execute the easy lay-up. DWX sat for two months, fully spoiled, still took two weeks for it to be errata’d.

ROC/Aaron Morgan has reminded everyone that the rule (which is in the tournament rules) is legality one week after release. If any group running an individual event is doing something different, that's in violation of the tournament rules.
The issue now isn't States not having BP at all, it's that any States run after this first weekend might have it, meaning they're not all the same playing field. It would nice to have the same, symmetrical field for all the events. And then there's the issue of getting pieces in a short time frame (which already existed with the 10/30 date), which can also create an uneven playing at events. Better to just push the set to 12/18 and be done with it.

You're absolutely right. I'm a competitive player, but travel is difficult for me for a variety of reasons. The State championships are my Clix highlight of the year and main priority.

So instead of letting Venues start selling BP, WK should deliberately hold it back to avoid impacting States?

It's the usual delusion that the 5% of competitive players mean more to the game and it's bottom line that the 95% of players that make up "The rest of us"

Well, 12/11 would be over a month delay. That really does suck for those who pre-paid on anything. I waited till like 2 days before release to order my CUR. Guess I could have waited longer.
Nature Manipulation: POWER: Remove up to 3 terrain markers within range and line of fire from the game, or generate a hindering terrain marker within range and line of fire.
Another chase booster bystander. Needs errata right away (not only is it missing a collector's number and keywords) but it has 0 range.

Venue(s?) are already selling Black Panther. It just doesn’t have an official release date yet, and no tournament legality as a result.
