From a thread I wrote in. Reflection on the game.

This is a hard one to call. How much is Seth (or other designers) reading on here? How much are they doing because they need to alter/stream line the rules to keep them more relevant or more accessible. And designing for this game is a slow process, of that I'm sure.

Seth has made questionable decisions lately. Namely in the TAs (as we agree on SinSyn) and Perplex, but I haven't lost faith.

I really sat and thought about this, just this thing with Regeneration and the Healing Factor feat vs the Auto-Regen feat. Taking a look at the way feats are being produced (where I first noticed this in Mutations and Monsters), they're being designed much differently. Traits and the 10% Feat cap game mechanics were long standing ideas I'm imagining at this point and this all focuses on the comic accuracy of the game.

The real question is, how much game we want and how much comic accuracy we want. It's a very wide range question for everyone.

Do we want more game? Auto-Regen as a card that you can slap on anyone with the pre-req

Or do we want more comic accuracy? Auto-Regen as a Trait on those who really have exceptional regenerative abilities.
