The Beginning of Project: Underdog

With Wizard World Dallas still in my sights, making a competitive team has suddently tanked for me. I've built my team to the point to where I don't believe I can improve it any further. My spirits have dropped in trying to make the perfect underdog team, the fun of building something competitive has taken it's toll on me.
So what now? Make a new competitive team, give in to cheese, or make something totally unpresidented and new? If I want to make an underdog team, I might as well go all out and make something absolutely creative and insane.
With that in mind. I am now more focussed on making an original team than to make an underdog competitive team that will probably lose. I have completely missed the point of the game: To have fun. and even though it'll cost me hundreds to get to WWD. I think it would be in my perogative to do so.
To help alleviate my recent burn-out, I thought about making some crazy team. Crazy....but competitive: The ultimate paradox in competitive play. Original, yet useful.
some of the recent teams have inspired me, COMPLETELY CRAZY teams. I don't want to do a comic-theme-team, because I'm not up to date or know much history of characters from comics. I'll go a step further and make a team that just LOOKS absolutely nuts. These crazy teams from Wizard World, I am looking at and using them as templates and inspiration.
But trying to compete on the same creativity level as those such as Groovyboy, would be a definate challenge that I would like to attempt to match. I don't know though, the Car Sales Team, and I believe the use of Mr. Bones. Sounds a lot tougher. I like it!
So with that said, the team I have thought of so far will have Thor, Jean Grey, Con Artist, Paramedic, Destiny, and Oracle, and another figure that NO ONE will EVER see coming. I can GUARANTEE IT.
Some of you may say, 'HEY! That's a Thor cheese-team!' To which you say are right by what I have written down. But trust me when I say this. NO ONE will EVER see it coming.
My only problem now, is that it's a pencil and paper idea, Like my competitive team, I need to build it in the states and give it a whirl.
I'm liking what I have written down. Let's hope it doesn't get hacked apart, I'm ready to have fun now.
