Day One

I just was thinking about what to do with this journal thing. Then it hit me, what a great way to keep people informed on the progress of some of my sets. We will start off with two things card-stock and ladders.
I am slowly making a transition from using illustration board to card stock for my personal 3-D maps. My plans for the CDs will still use the foam-core method. Most people like this format but I will be also adding the card-stock models to the CDs. A lot of the objects though will be making a transition to card-stock though. They are easier to make, lighter and see to look better. Buildings aren't as bulky looking with card-stock either.
Ladders. Last night I got the idea while creating "crate steps"(I stack crates to make steps to outdoor elevated terrain) to make ladders. I took some card-stock and started sketching and BANG there is was. Ladders will be making their way to the next CD. They look really cool and are easy to use.
Lastly I am working on a new logo.
