House of Heroes Tourny 5/1/05

Sunday was a 300pt all rookie team. I figured a lot of people would be using Invisable Girl so I decided to build my team around Ultron. Not a lot of people showed up, only 5 and that is unusual because most of the time we have 9 or 10. This is what I can up with:

Ultron
+ Armor Piercing
Domino
Taskmaster
Hawkgirl
Spider-Man(Ultimates)
+ Pounce
Psylocke

Try and use Psylocke and Ultron to do big damage from range be it EE or direct damage. Hawkgirl was in there just to carry Taskmaster around while Domino stealthed and did reroll and Spider-Man pounced around the map.

First Round: The kid was playing IG, Ultron, Jessie Quick, Jean Grey and something else but I dont remember. Also had Armor Piercing on Ultron. I was able to move around for a pounce on IG and got it with a heavy object to KO her. That was helpful plus he missed an attack with Ultron on Taskmaster. I went on to take the rest of his team but Jessie Quick put up a great struggle. She ended up KOing my Hawkgirl and Taskmaster while making 2 supersense rolls that were attacks from Ultron. Finally took her done though.

Second Round: I was playing a good friend Brad who was playing Ultron, Black Adam, and Jinx. Lets just say I played really stupid against him and missed a lot of easy rolls. For sum reason I flew right up within 5 space to try my attack. I also missed 2 attacks on Ultron and 2 on Jinx. I ended up KOing Jinx but he took the rest of mine. Oh well it was fun.

Third Round: We only play three rounds so this is the last round. Plus since we have an odd number of people byes are given and I have been given a bye. Oh well I finish 2-1 and Brad takes first, which is good since it is the first tourny he has one in a while.

No tourny this weekend because the judge is doing something for mother's day. Next time its 400pts and all same team ability. Avengers it will be.
