If I'm not mistaken, using an object as a weapon is not affected by the rule of 3.

The FAQs clarify that "damage value" and "damage dealt" are two different things. And it says that any "combat value" cannot be Perplexed more than 3 times. So if you Perplex a Thug's damage 3 times, then roll a critical hit, you do 1 + 3 + 1 = 5 damage.

Then read the rules about using objects as weapons in close combat. They add to the "damage dealt". Thus, if you use R Solomon Grundy with 3 damage, Perplex it 3 times, then us a heavy object, you will do 3 + 3 + 2 = 8 damage.

I love it that Ultimates Hulk is now everything he should have been. If you get lucky, you get 6 damage, then PPX it 3 times, give him a heavy object, and he can do 11 clix!! He can KO any character in the game from their first click, ignoring the defensive powers you've outwitted.
