Well i finally got my U iron man in and wanted to take a crack making a team with him. Here goes:
Originally i thought to use a R cap america but it seemed to take up to many points and didnt leave me enough room for 2nd string attackers and support peices. LMK what you think of the revised team:
U ironman
E taskmaster
R Paramedic
R Jean Grey
U Lady Deathstrike
R hooker
Basically my opponent should be scared to base me and hopefully i can get to him up close while running shotting with my ironman. Then finally i can tk them up with jean in order to get even farther up. Medic and hooker there for obvious reasons
i also came up with this variant of the original.
U Ironman144
E Taskmaster58
R Paramedic 9
E Hooker12
R CaptainAmerica72
In any team without willpower you need a number of figs = double the build total divided by 100. IE, 4 figs on a 200 pt, 6 on a 300, etc. Otherwise you end up pushing a lot more than you really want to.
This isn't an absolute rule, but if you want the team to be competitive as possible you should try to follow it.

Agreed, about the number of figures per points. The first Ultimates team I put together with a U Iron Man won me 1 game but lost me 2 due to the need to push:
U Iron Man
V Black Widow
E Storm
E Mysterio
Build total was 298 points or so (I think). I found Storm wasn't a whole lot of help. Had I substituted her for a couple of low-point R figures with more playability, I truly believe I could've stomped some booty. Live and learn.
And yes, U Iron Man was a beast but it turned out that V Black Widow was the true MVP on the team.
