whats some good strategies when fighting against him.
i usually play 400 pt teams and i have mostly marvel ultimates for my clix. i usually use U Thor and R Mandarin or V Prof-X and then some others. any suggestions are welcome. thanks in advance.

Psychic Blast/Exploit Weakness will cut through him like butter.

Try any of the following:

1. Despero (Gets the Job Done!)
2. Dormammu (Expensive but does do very well.)
3. V Rasputin (Long Range, Stealthed Perplex)
4. V Nemesis (2000AD and probability Control)
5. Doctor Fate (Short on range.)
6. E White Queen.

For exploit weakness try:
1. REV Captain America
2. "Cat-berry,Halle-Cat" LE Catwoman
3. Magog
4. Justice is Served!

i only have ultimats and not many of them have psychic blast.....sucks

Then go with Exp Captain America. He will get you to your exploit weakness clicks faster than the Vet. He is superior to the Rookie because Ultimates Team Ability will get him across hindering.

For Psychic Blast:

Phoenix or Mr. Sinister are good choices also but being unique are hard to get.

If those are not an option then try some heavy hitters on your side and hope that he misses his impervious rolls when they arrive. E/V Hawkeye or Cyclops at range Captain Britain or Ultimate Hulk(if you got him) up close.

Also a side note: Make sure you hold someone back in reserve in case you knock SS into his regeneration click. You want to be able to finish him on the spot. If he's allowed to regenerate you will have a lot of trouble on your hands.

I beat the LE Surfer twice in 600-pt games. tchipley is right about psychic blast (good old Despero). The other thing that worked was capture - I used Sinestro. That is actually one of my favorite tactics against figs with long dials and lots of invulnerability or impervious. When it works, it's great (400 pts for Surfer), but when it fails, it's pretty ugly.

Ultimates has some nice strong attackers as has been mentioned already. Hawkeye, the Punisher and Ghost Rider will punch right through those damage reducing powers.

Another thing to try is Incap, but IIRC there aren't that many good incappers in Ultimate...

Four incapers giving you your two actions each turn is quite annoying. When a physic blaster turns you into a silver smuge during the giving of your tokens is even more annoying.
