holy ####, that's a long parade! Those poor folks never knew when they signed up that it would be their death sentence.

It was a montage that only was good enough for 3rd place this year (Mars Attacks, Aliens, Predator, Star Wars and Transformers, etc.). That was just one Brigade (competing team). There were 16 different string band brigades in the parade this year. There are other categories / divisions like wench, comic and fancy. The parade has run 120 years in a row despite cold weather, wind, rain, snow or sunshine. It starts at 9 am and runs to about 4:30 pm and then concludes indoors (8-10 pm) at the convention center with the fancy brigade.

Last year, 3 members of their brigade, were tragically killed in a car accident, after the parade.

When you say last year, do you say it with the conscious knowledge that this is 2020, or do you say it as a slip of the tongue and mean 2018?

I don’t touch home remedies, I’m not a fan of homeopathy (not to offend anyone). I just take Mucinex and Excedrin until I feel better lol.

I wasn't really talking about homeopathy. For example, when I feel all congested I drink hot tea, or hot lemon drink (lemon juice, honey, water, splash of JAck Daniels), have soup. Nothing like taking ginseng or any other ingredients that are akin to ingredients that would go in a witch's brew.

Bud Palmer turned me on to these chewable Airborne gummies. So far that placebo seems to be working.
