Kind of wish there was some Hypersonic on Mary. Full movement charge is good, but I like having the movement options. Her Shazam! attack will be useful for breaking up huddles.

This is a good example of how benched powers are going to work. The full movement charge is appropriate over HSS and the added possibility for quake is an excellent boost. This sculpt looks amazing. Little surprised on leadership but I have no complaints.

gotta try her with Mjolnir. or the Octopus Arms.

It's interesting to me that her sp would still say "use Quake as FREE", implying there was still the old rule in mind, as Quake no longer requires an action of its own; it effectively an attack modifier. I suppose it still works under the new rules, or they'll errata it, but for the set hailed as intentionally created to turn a new page with the rules, there are glaring design flaws/oversights/quality failures, showing that this wasn't long thought out, but rushed.

It says Quake as free because she can only free to use quake. She can't just attack as free. She has to use quake.

Right, I understand that the clarification must be made, but it feels worded as it would have under the context of the 2017 rules; ie. It implies that Quake would otherwise be another type of action (CLOSE, like it used to be) if it wasn't FREE, whereas now it just.... is. While it's arguing syntax I suppose, since it still works the intended way, regardless, I believe a wording more contemporary to the 2021 rules changes probably should have been, "Quake. ...after resolutions this character may make a close attack as FREE, but only to use Quake." It's worth noting in my example that they left her in-question as to whether she is considered to be able to use Quake at all times on those first three clicks, or only when a successful attack occurs, triggering it into existence for the duration of thay attack. It's... interestingly phrased. Based on the CRB, I would imagine the latter. Certainly it's a corner case issue, but it is unnecessarily open ended.

You need to use Quake that is part of the special power.
If the power said "When she uses quake she uses it as Free" would mean she could use quake from any source.
