Ok does anybody else thinks he is insane for his cost? You better land that first hit or else you'll never catch him with his 9 range, FREE Mind control and that Psychic Juggernaut trait.

He’s basically only playable at these points. Using him at 900 or even 500 just doesn’t ever seem worth it. Despite that, he’s an absolute beast for 125! Shape change protects him, and his psychic juggernaut brings fear to essentially everyone that fights him!

I once used two of him for 125 and although it was really frustrating for my opponents, it was really fun for me! Hehe...

Does this guy have a place on meta monster teams?

He’s definitely META even thought 125 is a lot. Put a healer/perplex/ or prob next to him and set up a home base sniping with that 9 range. Brotherhood TA is great for him , removing tokens on 10+ rolls. Just keep him on that top click and your good. Monster team with venom cap also coming soon. I almost won an entire pauper event with him and Nehkrun the bat god giving him and my healers stealth. 20 points of orange proteus making free smoke clouds to sit him in.

You'd need 4 smoke clouds to give him stealth, as they can shoot any square of your colossal. (Or he can have 2 squares already in hindering)

Are there any good silver bullets for this piece in modern? The low secondary market value means that a lot of people locally are overusing him.

His biggest thing is Mind Control. You won't be able to shoot it, so you need to punch hard. So basically, get mad and hit things.

Chase Black Widow shuts him down pretty good via Tradecraft (makes it to where he can't use any of his special powers or trait powers).
