So bit of a question around STOP clicks and Pulse Wave, with some hypotheticals using Undertaker as a character with a STOP click mid-dial and a when-revealed effect.
Scenario #1
Undertaker on Click 5 (click just preceeding STOP click). Opponent's character uses Pulse Wave, clearing all powers and abilities from Undertaker and causing 'Taker one damage.
Question #1
Does the effect of 'Taker's "THE UNDERTAKER RISES" still take place once Pulse Wave resolves? Or does the STOP click reveal effect not trigger as once it clears the click is already in place and not considered to have just been revealed in that moment?
Scenario #2
Undertaker on Click 5 (click just preceeding STOP click). Opponent's character uses Pulse Wave, however they have a traited ability that states they actually do their printed damage value when using Pulse Wave. In this instance let's just say it's 2.
Question #2
When hitting 'Taker with Pulse Wave is the STOP also ignored as a power/ability and damage continues past this point? My assumption on this is yes, all damage is taken. Thereby the click is not revealed at all and Undertaker would be on Click 7 after resolution of Pulse Wave.
STOP. When this click is revealed due to damage taken from an opponent’s attack, stop turning the dial. When this character would be healed by Regeneration or Support, it’s healed 1 less click. Protected: Outwit, Pulse Wave.
Quote
Protected: Pulse Wave. This power or ability can be used during the resolution of Pulse Wave.
STOP and all other parts of the power have Protected: Pulse Wave, so they would trigger when the click is revealed.
