OK, my Cyclops does a running shot on my opponent's Superman. Cyclops, as a grounded character, runs adjacent to Superman, a flier, and wants to shoot him. Can he? Superman is a flier, and Cyclops is not adjacent to enemy grounded characters. Or, would the fact that he moved next to Superman force him to end his turn?
Thanks.
If, by running next to Supes, you end up next to a grounded fig, you can't make the running shot. It doesn't sound like that's the case, so a grounded character can make a ranged combat against an adjacent flyer. Go ahead and outwit supes defensive power and feed him all 4 of Cyke's damage. Unless he's KC or OWAW, he's based and now won't be able to get away unless he successfully makes a breakaway. Sweet...

From the example you give, yes, Cyclops can still make a ranged attack against Superman. His Running Shot move ends right there, but you still get to make the attack since it comes at the end of the movement.
If you were to Running Shot into Magog, you wouldn't be able to make the attack as it would become illegal by that point.

Just trying to figure out why those two wouldnt need to breakaway?
Doesn't OWAW Superman lose HSS after taking 4 clicks? If so you could still run and gun him with Ultimate Cyclops and keep him tied up.

"No. Because it's just too obvious."

With Deathbird having such a high defense against ranged attacks, I like to save her BCF for figures that will try and get up close. She is one of my favorites.
I like to have DB RS to base an enemy and drag EV Psylocke along for the ride. That way her RS does an extra click of damage and the fig she based now has to deal with two 9-10 AV BCFers next turn.
