Im a fan of the infinite gems and what they do with normal people and i wanted to emulate how it would be in a HC world. it may be for all of you an exageration but at last they are the Infinite Gems, the gems wose gave to thanos the power to defeat all the titans of the Marvel Universe even Galactus.
When you pick a gem your turn over unless you push your hero.
You can make an enemy lose a gem making a successful attack, the gem will be posed adjacent to the hero who had it (you decide the place of the gem).
You can disable or counter abilities and the “+10” maded by the gems as all were abilities
In the case of repeated abilities it will count as one, if you counter an ability repeated for example Telekinesis in reality and space, the hero who had both gems wont be able to use it, even the ability is in both gems.
You can’t share a gem, cause the power posses your mind.
If you lose a gem you automatically earn a token, cause the exhaust of having great power.

Try Reading my article. I played the video games for SNES and PS1, and I think that you have over powered the powers. Maybe if you get all 6 gems, you get SOME of these powers. Like I said, read http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/articl...icle&artid=329
Most of the powers you're wanting to contribute either are redundant, like HSS and RS, or are contradictory, like Battle Fury and Mind control. You're waaay overpowering each of the individual gems, and in many case misapplying powers. The space gem, for example, would be the one to give you HSS, much as the Runner used it in the Thanos Quest storyline where Thanos acquired all the gems.
The gems are very powerful, enough to raise a merely potent person to low-end cosmic stature. But we already have clix representing that power range. Merely posessing one gem won't let you take down Galactus. OTOH, I felt that your article (coolswinger) underpowered the gems, and often would reasult in the characters having the same poewer twice. I suggest the following very powerful but not unrealistic* gems. If they were feat cards, I'd estimate each one to be worth around 150 points:
Ground rules/drawbacks:
Any time a character with an Infinity Gem critical misses or is critically hit, they take an extra click of damage.
If a character with an infinity gem is KO'ed, the gem drops to the ground where that character previously was and may be picked up by any character who moves into that square.
Power:
+1 to damage,
+1 to attack,
Super strength; if already SS then is un-outwittable
+2 "levels" to damage reducing power:
If none, -> invulnurable
toughness -> impervious
invulnurable -> impervious, failed roll reduces damage by 3 instead of 2
impervious -> damage reduced by 3 on a roll of 1-4, and cannot be outwitted or ignored by powers that normally circumvent damage reducing powers. Pulse wave still works.
Time:
This character does not take pushing damage, gains phasing, and can make two consecutive actions.
Gains super senses, if already has super senses, is un-outwitable.
+2 to attack.
Space:
+4 movement, gains charge+running shot+phasing. If the clix already has one of these powers, gains HSS. If already HSS, HSS is unoutwittable.
This character also gains the abilities to soar and to carry other pieces as if it had flying. If already flying, can carry multiple adjacent clix as with the GL TA.
Also gains ES/D; if this character already has ES/D it -may- be outwitted, but otherwise provides +4 defense instead of +2.
Mind:
This character gains the following powers: psychic blast, telekenisis, mind control. Any already present cannot be outwitted.
+2 to range, one extra target
+1 to attack
+1 to damage.
They can ignore hindering terrain as if they had the Ultimate's TA.
Soul: (sorry about the complexity of this one.)
This character gains the following:
regeneration and automatic regeneration, as the feat card.
This character may attempt to steal another's soul: make an attack roll as normal. If you succeed, you and the player of the attacked piece roll two dice: add your respective rolls to the clix' attack plus defense values. If the character with the soul gem's total is higher, roll six sided dice equal to the the ammount his total exceded his opponent's. This damage cannot be reduced to 0 with powers, even those granted by infinity gems, and may not be avoided with super senses, master mind, or other sneaky powers. Just think of it like pulse wave damage.
Regardless of the outcome, take four damage after the action resolves.
Reality:
The bearer of this gem can, as a free action, create a barrier as per the power up to their range +4 squares away. In addition, they gain these powers/abilities:
+1 damage,
probability control,
outwit,
ES/D
The Power Cosmic TA.
Infinity gauntlet/multiple gems:
Any character with more than one gem gains all powers granted by each gem; all redundant powers are immune to outwit. Furthermore, for every gem beyond the first, this character gains +1 to every stat on it's dial, including range, beyond all other bonuses granted by the gems.
*If one of these seems way more powerful or weaker than the others, let me know. In fact, feel free to comment generally.
Ok first i was thinking in a game where not always thanos has the infinite gems, you can put all the gems in the map as you want. example in a 100pt, 300pts etc. you decide, and you have to reach all the gems. and defeat all.
Ofcourse Thanos is a very powerfull titan and put him all the gems is maddnes, but imagine a tug with all he would be amazing.
I think the biggest prob with my rules are the plus10 cause it made them almost undefeatable but it can be corrected thats why i post it here to see all your opinnion.
One of the problems with Thanos in the journey of the Infinite Gems, was his human deffects thats why you can outwit all the avilities showing human weakness
The infinite Gems is something like the One Ring in the lord of the ring thats why it sick you and you cant share it and thats why when you lose it you lose a clix cause the power fatigue.
I forget that in a critical miss you lose one gem and you droped it werever you want (adjasent of you).
I based the game not on the arcade game, i based it on the Comic, and if you read it you will see that my game wasnt overpowered, hat te game fix good, but thats my oppinion thats why i need all opinions, by other way i was thinking, to made it more terrenal to rest the plus10 to a plus6 or +5 in that way the Gems still powerfull but not unreal to defeat.
With a good team of ouwitters and perplex, would defeat even thanos with all the Gems.

I think the key to making gems for clix is not to make each one too powerful, but to make them really dangerous if you get all of them. Here's how I'd make them:
Soul:
Regen , no minus 2 to the roll.
Support

Super senses the whole dial 123 hit, 456 miss
2 arrow incap with range of 12
Willpower

can carry up to 8 figures at a time, flying or grounded

Can contnue to take turns without pushing (like galactus)

Can't be outwited

Mind control range 12 triple arrow
Power (Red)
Increase the physical strength and durability

Damage +10 (Obvious Physical strength)

Force Blast (You are so strong that you can throw anyone to a wall)
Quake (You can hit the floor and made rumble it)

Stopping the time you can move every where in a second or MATRIX effect
Attack +10 (if you can move as fast as you can you can attack certainly without missing)

Hypersonic Speed (Same, you stop time and move any were in a second)
Willpower (Allows to attack double stoping time)
Combat Reflexes (If you run slow the time you can move back to do not be hutrted)
Charge (Move and attack in the same time caused of a slow running time)
Running Shoot (Move and attack in the same time caused of a slow running time)
Reality (Yellow)

You can create energy in ray form and you can create barriers creating mass

Probability Control (You can made an alterated universe where hey cant target you with problems and helping you to targeting)

Physic Blast (Create energy to use as a Blast)

Mind Control (You stole the soul of your enemy transforming him in to a Zombie)

Steal Energy (in the comic Thanos use it against Silver Surfer to stole his powers)
Regeneration (Soul controls the life to and can regenerate yourself)
Perplex (Soul can make you accurate or worst)
Support (Soul can heal to)
Enhancement (Soul can make you better at all)
Defend (You can made a friend strong as you)
Mind (Blue)
Increase the intellect and controls the mind of others
You are more intelligent, and you can control the mind of others
Target +10 (Your intelligent made more accurate)
Incapacitate (You can use your mind to stop an enemy Example: Xavier vs Juggernaut with out helmet)
Battle Fury (You can’t be target of mind control and any kind of control)
Master Mind (You are a Master mind)
Mind Control (You can control the mind of anyone)
Earthbound (Cause your mind control you can say fight in earth!)
Leadership (You are intelligent you are a nate leader or all do what you want cause fear)
Exploit Weakness (You can see and examine your opponents and see their weakness and use it against him)
Space (Purple)
Space Control, allowing instant travels over long distances
On changing space you can curve the universe and travel by a long distance “worm Tunnel theory”
Speed +10 (All owing to move almost any way)
Phasing (Teleport is the same as curve the space)
Telekinesis (I like here)
Leap/ Climb (Allows you to move any way and attack a flier without fliing)
Stealth (You can be in a place occupied by mass like to be in the middle of a wall)
Plasticity (You can play with the space moving you all the way you want)
Shape Changue (You can play with the space moving you all the way you want)
