this might have been asked b 4 but i was wondering if I wanted to push LE surfer to get to a better place on his dial would i be able to turn his TA off??
Team abilities are always on, that is why you cannot draw lines of sight to your batman allies for perplex, probability, etc.., you can't turn it off and neither can your opponent

Not that it matters in that case... I can't think of a reason why someone would WANT to be forced to slow down in hindering or suffer ranged penalties for it.
ALL TAs are optional. I don't know why they added the "(optional)" part onto the Ult rules suppliment for the TAs. None of the TAs on the Universe PAC has that, though they are all optional (as per the rulebook).
While we are talking about power cosmic, I have a question. My question comes from Galactus rules. The rules for Galactus are that he can be outwitted if he fails to roll a five or six. I thought the Power Cosmic protected a character from outwit. Is this a special rule for just him, or does this apply to all Power Cosmic team members?
If it does apply to him, why? I have played against Galactus a few times where we did not allow outwitting him, and were still able to take him down.
It depends which version of Galactus you are playing. If you are using him with the senerio rules then you can roll to outwit/perplex. If you are using him on a constructed team then you cannot outwit/perplex him. Actually let me rephrase that. You cannot outwit/perplex you opponent's Big G. You could turn off the Power Cosmic TA on your own G to perplex him up more to say an 11 damage and 18 av. But that would send you staight to cheese heII.

But Ultimates was released after Universe (with rulebook), so Ultimates TA is still non-Optional, correct?
