I was just reading the FAQ and noticed that Pulse Wave ignores all powers, etc INCLUDING perplex and outwit....so if you outwit PW, can I still use it, since it ignores it? I imagine no...but if you perplex down my attack, do I ignore that? I imagine yes....
Also, a question from a recent game. If I have a 4 damage and hit you with a heavy object, does that object count as 2 of the +3 for the rule of 3? I said no since objects add to damage dealt, not damage value.

If Pulse Wave is Outwitted, you don't have the power. If you don't have Pulse Wave, you can't ignore those other powers. Perplex only works on the turn of the player using it, so it can't be used to decrease your figure's attack value.
I agree with you on the use of objects with Super Strength. Objects add to damage dealt, so if they don't work, critical hits might not add damage if damage has been increased by 3 already.

Let's flip it to something that might happen...your own character within range of the PW Perplex's up your PW character's attack. Then the Perplex will be ignored during the PW attack.
In order to Perplex up the attack on a PW, the Perplexer must be out of the range of the PW (or be the PWer themself.)
I would imagine the same would also be true for Probability control as well? That you need to be outside of the range of PW to use PC to reroll PW?
All warfare is based on deception. Hence when able to attack we must seem unable. When we are near we must make the enemy believe we are far away when far away we must make him believe we are near. Feign disorder, and crush him. Sun Tzu

Yep the PCer would need to be outside of the range of the PW to use PC on the PWer. (Or the PCer would need to be the PWer themselves.)
