I've been a big fan of the Squad for years(and now use a SS team for battle using all possible Task Force Omega people) but have never been able to complete my collection and one question has gnawed at me for awhile. In issue 26 of the first run Rick Flagg blows up Jottehleim with a Abomb and the last scene we see is he and Rustam fighting but i have seen Rustam appear since how is that? Is it a brother, clone etc. Any help would be appreciated.

I got the impression that the Rustam appearing in the last series, the Keith Giffen-written one, was the son of the original. The writing wasn't very clear, but I believe he mentions his father clashed with Amanda Waller and her Suicide Squad beforee.
