Not sure where this falls in the order of comics, but I just got and read my:
Flash Wizard Special 1/2: Flash is after the Trickster, who has broken into the Flash museum, hacked into the DEO computers, to hack into the FBI computers. He gets info telling Captain Cold and his Rouges, where Digger's body is. Flash catches Axel, and takes him to the prison, but before Trickster's arrested, he's yanked out by Mirror Master. Meanwhile Heatwave, Magneta, and Pied Piper are out on the hunt for Replicant. Zoom, pays Linda a vist.
This was a great issue, and what's cool is that Johns told a story, fit for a full comic, in 13 pages. The rest of the comic, details the making of the book, from script to press. Cool stuff. 10 out of 10
1/6th of the Brothers Prob. '19-'20 Season: 15-13(8 events) 2 wins, 2nd XDPS PR 9-7, 7th SOC
Quick, I lost my copy of Supes Vs Zod, the one where Zod announces it is in fact he. I liked his speech there, that took up the last two-three pages, but I don't have it now. Anyone remember how it went?
Originally posted by Kiryu I'm curious as to how in the heck Wonder Woman managed to lasso Zoom. Just really curious, same with how she tagged him! For a guy who moves so fast the Flash didn't have a prayer of ever touching him, he got served.
I haven't read much Flash since Waid left. Is Zoom faster than the Flash these days? And if he is, what has boosted his powers?
Originally posted by Darth Sabre Adventures of Superman #638: You know, I start gaining faith in Rucka, and he does the Mxy thing again-right in the middle of an arc, What this does, is bring to a screeching halt, any momentum he was building, after a rather lackluster run on AoS. The story was ok. 5 out of 10 [/b]
I find Rucka the best writer of the 3 "dream teams" that took over last March. Unfortunately, lackluster is not mutually exclusive with that assessment. Anyways...
Does Rucka know about Mxy's 90 day rule or does that no longer apply? Personally, I think Rucka is confused and brings Mxy back every 90 days which is 24-48 hours comic book time.
Darth Sabre: While I agree that Rucka should have maybe spent at least some of the issue continuing to push the story forward, I didn't dislike this appearance of Mxyztlplk as much as I disliked the last one.
At least this one lead to some character development, gave us some insight into a possible future, and gave Dark_Crisis another Supergirl to lust after (and, she wasn't hard on the eyes, either).
Natt the Hat: I think that Rucka's interpretting Mxy's 90-day rule as time passing differently in the 5th dimension. After all, Mxy's world is outside of everything that we know about normal physics, it would be entirely plausible that time in his dimension doesn't pass the same as it does here.
Thus, he can make an appearance every 90 days in our time, which translates to roughly every 2-3 days in comics time.

JacinB is right.

I never considered that. It's a valid reason for his sudden appearances.
Yeah, that explanation would work, too, if it weren't for the fact that, as Mxy is leaving this time (untricked), he says "See you in 90."
That would indicate that it doesn't matter whether he goes on his own or is 'forced to' by being tricked, the 90 day rule still applies.

JLA: Here's a possiblity that's been brought up on the DC Message boards: That J'onn and Batman switched places. It explains why J'onn needs to be in a ship and isn't using his telepathy. Bats was trying to get J'onn attention about something right before the fighting started...

Hey Natt,
First of all this is a new Zoom, not the original Reverse Flash and his powers are slightly different. HE doesn't actually have "speed" but rather can manipulate and move through time at a faster pace while Wally and the other Speedsters are just physically very, very fast. This gives Zoom an edge and makes him "appear" faster than Wally in a head to head scenario. In their first conflict Wally had to absorb the speeds of Jay, Bart and Jesse Quick just to "keep up" and even then he had to anticpate what Zoom was going to do next and where to try and make contact with him.
