I must say that I just finished reading the first six issues of Thanos and I liked it a lot. I've always liked him (he's one of my favorite villians) so I was a bit aprehensive about him possibly going hero. But Starlin did write and draw a good run of six issues. I'm not sure however, how long it will last having Thanos as a good guy.
I'm also a huge Galactus fan, and I was a little disapointed on having the big G humbled a little, but if it had to be done, let it be done by the Titan. Moreover, I enjoyed knowing more about Galactus, and Starlin did a good job with giving the character more of a soul. It was just a good read.
One thing that I am upset about however is that I guess Marvel ticked offed Starlin so he won't be continuing the book, which is really bad because Starlin is Mr. Cosmic when it comes to Marvel's cosmic stories.
Too bad it didn't last tho. Thanos is a good bad guy..... or a bad good guy... I just hope if/when he shows up again, the writter will be able to make it a really good story.
Last guy left out how Thanos met the Beyonder (Thanos was dead, at th time, if I recall and the Beyonder went thru Death's realm at some point, I just can't remember which issue, but I'm sure it was as Kismet in an FF annual).
