Hi everyone, I may be using either the Big Fig Sinestro or Sentinel this weekend and I just wanted to refresh myself on some of the rules:
Does a big figure have line of fire to any piece on elevated terrain even if they're away from the edge and the big figure is not on elevated terrain?
If a big figure is on elevated terrain away from the edge, can non-bigfig pieces on the ground draw line of fire to the big figure?
If possible, please post where you're getting your answer from so that I can bring some printed proof (ie the big fig rules or faq) this weekend in case problems come up.
This is from the updated Marvel Big Figure Sentinel rules, available on the WK Marvel "How To Play" site.

A big figure Sentinel and characters on elevated terrain may make ranged combat attacks against each other as if they were on the same terrain level. Soaring characters and a big figure Sentinel may attack each other, and when targeting each other both use their full range.

Blocking terrain blocks line of fire to a big figure Sentinel as normal.
So a grounded non-elevated figure attacking a Sentinel on elevated terrain treats blocking terrain -- including the "edge of the building" rule -- as normal, so no, if the Sentinel isn't on the edge of the building, LOF can't be drawn to it.
From the General rules of the Sentinel Big Figure rules:
Quote
6. May be attacked by grounded, elevated, or soaring characters using Close or Ranged Combat attacks, and is adjacent to characters in adjacent squares regardless of elevation.
