So, I've been beating my head into this one for a bit, and they FAQed part of it, but that left me with this question:
You cannot use Thunderbolts to give your Avengers the alternate Fantastic Four ability. Fine. But what if you include a FF member, The Thing for example, in your team, give him the alternate FF ability and then use Thunderbolts to give the Avengers in your team the Fantastic Four team ability. Does only The Thing get the alternate ability and the rest have the normal FF ability or does the alternate ability now apply to all because The Thing let you bring the feat card?
Just a curiosity and thanks in advance for your help.
We need American Dream, at least. Cap and his adoring star-spangled chippi need to be on the field together.
yes, the thing gets the AFF feat and the rest of them have the regular FF TA. but a way around that is to thunderbolts them to wildcards and then have them mimic the AFF TA

Which would be REALLY COOL... if it worked. And it doesn't. You cannot Tbolt a wildcard team ability, per the Tbolts card itself. You also cannot copy a team ability that cannot be copied (???)... In other words, you cannot copy the Power Cosmic, because the description for the PC ability says it cannot be copied.
Basically, there's no way you can use Tbolts to copy a team ability that comes from a Feat card. True wildcards can get it, as long as you have a matching figure on your team, but there's no way a Tbolts can.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.

Don't forget some plastic... help the others with the cleanup
We all miss one part of the rules at one point. Heck, I'm an envoy and I have a horrible time with the rules for giant figures. (Basically, I avoid them and let those who know better answer them)

Funky, I've been going with this tactic, too... but now, with the Marquee this weekend... :disappoin
TRADES. eBay.
An Admin told me that I'm "too smart" for Another Realm. I hold that as a standing order.

I judged the Tulsa FForces Pre-release and fortunately only got a couple questions about the giant figure rules. Oddly enough, the one topic I got them most questions about was Probability Control... Six total, and 3 of them were in a row!
Anyway, now I am judging one FForces marquee and playing in another. Brrrrrr... more giant figure questions.
