I thought that the "Big figs" had rules other than that "within 2 squares"... I just hadn't seen a little insert with the giant figs that mentioned these rules, so I wasn't sure. Thanks for the clarification, though.
Yeah, the giant rules insert came with Legacy (And maybe mutant mayhem?)
I really don't know why it's not in the FF boosters too. It seems like a lot of people would have probably missed Giant Man and Steel.

Remember, Giant Figures are ONLY considered adjacent to opposing figures 2 squares away for MOVEMENT and CLOSE-COMBAT purposes.
Range does not fall within those two situations. So for Ranged combat a figure would have to be 1 square away to be considered adjacent.
Hope that helps.
yes, that does answer my question. thank you very much. so that means a giant fig can make a range attack or close combat attack to an enemy two squares away, even if there's a character directly between them.
Question:
If Hector Hall is in Soaring and is 2 squares away from Atlas, can HH use Defend to give Atlas his defense value?
If Hector Hall is in Soaring and is 2 squares away from Atlas, can HH use Support on Atlas?
Answer by Hair10:
No. Atlas is adjacent to Hector for close combat purposes two squares away. Hector is not adjacent to Atlas unless he's in the square next to him.
The answer is the same for giant-to-giant adjacency for team abilities.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
what powers can you use to a giant, or by a giant, from two squares away? like, can you use defend on a giant from 2 squares? (i don't think so, but i want to make sure)

sorry, what i meant was support. can you use support from two squares away?
Based on the second question and hair10's answer in the post I quoted, I would say you have to be immediately adjacent to each other. I directly quoted PoPo's question on the judges forum and this was the response/quote I was given, and the response/quote mentions Support specifically.
