If you're asking if a figure with MM can sluff off Mystics damage when attacking a Mystic, then yes, you can. I'm pretty fuzzy as to whether the figure taking the MMed Mystic damage actually takes the unpreventable damage, but I believe they do.

can a clix with the mastermind TS sluff off the mystics TA damage when doing damage to a clix with the mystics TA?
or does the clix have to take the damage?
The official rule is -- If you damage a Mystic, he will retaliate with a click of damage. If you have Mastermind, you can shove that click onto an adjacent friendly figure.
Now, if the adjacent figure is a Mystic, they will NOT retaliate against the opposing Mystic for two reasons...
1) Damage passed on from Mastermind is no longer damage from an attack (although things like Psychic Blast and Exploit Weakness will follow the damage),
2) And even if it did, MystiGen damage down not cause MystiGen damage.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
If people are wanting "official" rulings, then they need to go to the Wizkids site....
.....and Funky is correct as well.
I read a post by normalview that pretty much said the same thing. I laughed till I cried. He said something like, "You'll get a correct ruling here, but you need to go to HCrealms for an official ruling"...

Here's the exact line. Glad I managed to amuse you so much, clixer11.

And just so I'm clear on this:
If an adjacent figure takes the Masterminded Mystics damage, it can be prevented with Toughness, INV, IMP, etc. instead of being unpreventable like if they were to normally attack a Mystic?
Thanks!

No. It is still Mystics damage. Just like a Master Minded Psychic Blast will still cut through damage reducers, Master Minded Mystics damage still can't be reduced or evaded.
In fact, the only reason MM works on Mystics is because it doesn't reduce or evade the damage, it just makes another figure bite the bullet.
