Untill the ICONS marquee when the new rulebook becomes legal, can I still use Enhancement with Energy Explosion? This is CRITICAL to my team this weekend please let me know soon thanks!

yes, but double check with your local judge


New rules aren't official until the marquee, but sometimes venues/judges will jump the gun and "houserule" them in early. This is within their rights for many tournaments so it's always best to check with the local judge (and maybe have a backup team ready just in case)

I remember the same kind of things happening back when Indy came out.


Also, I believe there is still quite the discussion going on about the whole EE/enhancement thing in the judges forums at wizkids.

Also, I just want to point out that since Hair10 can no longer post on this forum in his capacity as Rules Arbitrator, you are never going to get an "official" answer. You will most likely get a correct answer, but if you are looking for an answer straight from the source, so to speak, you are going to have to start checking the wizkids boards.

I e-mailed the judge at wizkids site, he says good to go untill sept 21 when Icons is legal. so woo hoo!

Just take note that 21SEP05 =/= the Marquee date.
