okay, i have been looking at this feat card and never realized how good it really is if used correctly. i also have never used it either.

so i'm gonna try to use it the next time i play with E captain britain and V beast (xp).

so my questions are...

1-can a flier be the one who is attacking during fastball special?

2-can i use fastball special and team abilities together like batman enemies? ie: bane is adjacent to icons joker, can bane share the 11 attack and then use the +2 modifier during the attack?

3-if i use fastball special with lord recluse and captain mako, does captain mako use his exploit weakness? i'm guessing no because it requires power actions to both. but i would still like clarification please.

4-can a wildcard be used to meet the prerequisites of fastball special? ie: R sub-mariner and wolverine.

5-is fastball special considered a range attack and if it is, does the attacker need line of sight to the figure or a square adjacent?

6-if i have V clayface (CD) throw bane, does he get only +1 to his damage or +3 because of his CCE?

7-do you take push damage before or after the action of fast ball special? ie: ares throws a V demon when he is on his first click, V demon has an action token on him, can he not use fastball special because he has 4 damage when he pushes or does my opponent take the damge after the action?

8-if i have thunderbolts on both of my figures, hercules and (AW) captain america, can they use fastball special?

9-if i have thunderbolts on one figure to copy a team ability of another figure can i use fastball special? ie; i thunderbolt vision to be a mystic so i can throw LE etrigan.

10-who gets the points for fastball special and do they divide if my opponent only KO's one of the figures with the feat? or what if two different opponents KO each of my fastball special figures?

11-could i use fastball special to hurl a transporter like lockjaw? even though they have no TA's for the transporters yet? but if they did have a grounded transporter with a TA.

12-could i use fastball special to hurl a giant? it shows that the figure doing the damage can have the starburst and giant figure symbol on the feat card. ie: superman and giant steel.

13-can a figure with battle fury throw another figure using fastball special? ie: KC magog and KC bat sentry.

14-can i use perplex with a figure to perplex up the attack of the attacker 1 during fastball special? ie: beast uses perplex to up captain britains attack to 11, fastball special brings it to a 13.

15-are there any benefits of using fastball special? if so what are they?

Sure thing. The only requirement for being a thrower is that you have Super Strength and a Team Ability.

Nope. The prerequisite is that both figs have the same team ability printed on their bases. In updated wording, they need the same team symbol. Submariner can only throw other Minions of Doom.

Quote form the card: "The first character makes a ranged combat attack against a single opposing target within 6 squares." So yes, it is a ranged attack against the target, and the attacker needs line of sight to the target.

+1. CCE is a power action, and is therefoe incompatible with FBS.

Push damage is always dealt at the end of an action, i.e. after the damage has been dealt. However, The Demon cannot be thrown when he is on his activation click as he does not fulfill the prerequisites at that point - he doesn't have toughness.

Yep. As I said before, FBS goes by Team Symbols.
On a side note, I have to point out that Thunderbolts is an all-or-nothing deal. You must assign Thunderbolts to every Avenger on your fource, and pay 5 points for each.

Very few, it is a difficult card to use. Thematic though.

What happens If i throw Wolverine at a soaring figure with Collosus?

First thought: you'd be making the Ranged attack at half range, so only three squares away from Collosus.

Second thought: the Feat says to place the thrown character in a square adjacent to the target... I'm not sure if you can place him adjacent to a soaring figure.

Thought of certainty: Without a house rule in effect, if this is allowed, no, Wolverine does not "fall from Soaring height."

I'd rule that it is not allowed, since you cannot place a grounded fig adjacent to a soaring fig. It's the same thing as if a HSS/Transporter fig tried to attack while carrying someone.
