I'm trying to develop a "look in one place" spot to summarize the subtleties regarding Team Ability, Team Affiliation, Team Symbol, specifically for Brilliant Tactician, Inspiring Commander, Rally, Saboteur, Thunderbolts, Wild Cards, alternate-TAs, arch-enemies (by team)
Questions/Statements
Both Wildcards and Thunderbolts can use Team Abilities interact with native-Team Affiliates as if they are members of the TA, JSA/Defenders, Click-Swapping, Superman Enemy.
Thunderbolts cannot use Alternate Team Abilities.
Wild Cards can use Alternate Team Abilities.
Wildcards and Thunderbolts using a given Team Ability are not subject to restrictions/penalties associated with the Team Ability; for example, 2000 AD/Ult-X/Alpha-Flight declarations that do not specifically call out Thunderbolts (or the particluar WildCard team) cannot get a bonus against them, even if Thunderbolts have declared a specific Team Ability like Mystics. Also Thunderbolts can be Green Lanterns on a team with Sinestro Constructs, and Morlocks while on a team with Sentinels.
Anyone else want to add how Brilliant Tactician/Inspring Command/Saboteur work?
Anything goes, here. Thunderbolts and Wildcards both count as sharing a team Ability. So, your Brilliant Tactician can target friendly characters as long as they share the Team Ability in any way.
This one requires sharing Team Symbol. So, Wildcards can use it on other Wildcards.Thunderbolted characters can use it on other Thunderbolted Avengers, but not members of the team they are copying.
