Yeah, it was a nice slap in the face to all those 'creative' types out there. I still remember first reading that there was going to be a GL movie and being elated until I found out that Jack Black was going to play Hal and the tone of the movie was going to be like The Mask.

I liked the Mask, but that's not Green Lantern.

I would like to see a GL movie based more closely on the original GL first.
