I'd tack this onto one of the other Civil War threads, but after a few pages I tend to get bored with threads, so I'm starting a new one.
So how much ### did Luke Cage kick in New Avengers 22 this week? My favorite comic of the week by far! He scratches a line in the sand and let's SHIELD cross it. And just when all seems lost Captain America, Daredevil and Falcon show up and that's all she wrote for the scum sucking pro-reg dogs. Definately recommend anyone interested in Civil War or Luke Cage picks up this book, while it establishes nothing new in the main story it is a great illustration of the War up close and personal.
I've got to admit I hated the old Power Man in his yellow 70s shirt but the Luke Cage, Avenger, is one always fun to read. Whatever happens to the New Avengers after CW, I sure hope he's a part of it. (cough cough dump Iron Man, Bendis, cough cough.)
Anybody read CW: Young Avengers/Runaways? Anything worth reading, Civil War plot-wise that is.
This was an awesome issue, probably one that takes the issues both sides are presenting , and truly brings them home. Nice to see that logan's speech hit a chord with him, and that it's resonating with Jess as wel.l
Yeah, I'm with you on this point- Luke was lame in the 70's. 2006 NYC Guardian Angel, New Avenger Luke is the ####.
Favorite line of the comic:
"...and I don't want to work for the United States of Corporate Sell Outs."
Can you say OUCH? Great book!
1/6th of the Brothers Prob. '19-'20 Season: 15-13(8 events) 2 wins, 2nd XDPS PR 9-7, 7th SOC

And to think a lot of people was complaining because the mystery on which side Luke will choose was already spoiled in CW 2.
I kept telling them that the best thing about civil war is not about which side a character is but rather on the why did they choose to be in anti or pro

I agree with this. Having people who struggle with their personal beliefs and what's right almost always makes for a great story.

and now I'm waiting for Thor's story. Why Thor? WHYYY??!!!! Say it ain't so.
I keep telling you, he's being blackmailed. They know with a tap of his hammer he transforms back into a human being, but not Donald Blake or any of the other's he's been, no, now, he transforms into Jane Foster. And that just makes for a bad time of it when he/she has to use a public restroom and isn't sure which way to go, if you know what I mean. And now, Tony has pictures to prove it. That swine.
