A friend of mine recently lost her brother to a heart attack at only 51 yrs old. I had met the guy a couple of times and we would always talk comics. From what I understand, his wife says that they have about 10 long boxes of comics (they had the Kitty Pride/Wolverine limited series on display at his services... as well as some other collectibles and PEZ dispensers).
Does anyone here have any recommendations for selling?
I don't think he has anything graded so my suggestion would be to pull the number #1s and other assorted goodness and probably e-bay it. Then you can take the rest to a comic book shop and probably get $25-$50 a box for the other issues depending on condition.
Is this a realistic plan?
I am currently trying to help them organize the collection so they have an inventory to work with.
