Could have been, I don't have the issue in front of me. I thought the shoulders/coloring was more in line with the Levitz era CK (The transmuting one rather than the magnetic one). But I admit I could be wrong.

Yeah, man, I'd forgotten how good Johns can be, it's like he was born to write JSA. All the speil in that Wildcats vs. Vandal Savage fight was just classic, plus Savage gets an extra point for useing an engine block as a weapon (hey it's a heroclix object!).

I get the feeling that Cyclone's bubbly personality is actually a pretense and she has some serious depression and/or security issues.

In closeing I love that Obsidian creeps around the JSA base, that might be the best thing in the world.

I definitely agree with both of those statements (well, really the whole post but those two bits especially). I'm waiting to find out that poor Cyclone is a very lonely person who makes up for it by "over-talking" when she gets a chance to be around people and as for Obsidian, well, it kind of makes the book like a fun version of "Where's Waldo?" as you look for him around the HQ. I keep thinking someone needs to run a "secure HQ" scenario with the JSA Heroclix map where you randomly roll a column or row that Obsidian goes moving through each round and if a non-JSA character is encountered in that roll, Obsidian takes a swipe at them.

I must've missed this crystal. It was in JSA #4? I don't remeber seeing it.
