got a wildcard question here my opponant has nova adjacent to ch'p and wants to use running shot to get line of fire to my valor which is in hindering. He uses running shot and I declair batman TA. What happens to nova does she go back where she came from like the attack never happened or does she take bead and stay there? If she is allowed to go back like it never happened can she be TKed by ch'p to be adjacent to valor and then attack?
Far as I'm aware, she'd be stuck with the token at the location the attack was to occur following the movement portion of the Running Shot. She could declare another target, if valid from her new location, but would either target someone/something else or take an action token and ultimately waste the action.

It's kinda the point of wildcard figures... they're designed to do stuff like this. There's nothing wrong with switching to Bat Ally if someone wants to Running Shot your wildcard, thus invalidating the attack but still forcing the action. In a friendly game, I could maybe see letting someone take it back, but in a competitive tournament I would expect my opponent to do something like this to me, and would have no problems if they did so. I'd be a little miffed, but it's a rule of the game and I can live with it.

You wouldn't be obligated to allow him to take back the action. Like I said, in a friendly game it might not matter so much (depending on who you're playing). If I were teaching someone the game I'd allow them to take it back, but an experienced or competitive friend would just have to suck it up and deal with it
In a tournament, I would only let them take it back in out-of-the-ordinary situations, such as when I'm playing a younger kid (we've had 6-10 year olds play at our venue quite frequently).
