Doesn't the effect of Perplex persist even if the power is gone? I.E., if Mult. Man Perplexes a friend's AV, then critmisses off the Perplex power, the friend keeps the boost until the end of the turn or taking damage. Therefore a PW would not ignore the defense boost but have to hit the increased stat, even if Saturn Girl were in range of the PW.
Nope. Read the last part of Perplex:

So if Multiple Man loses Perplex, the effect that it granted is lost (like if he pushes off of it after perplexing someone, but before it's used). Always a good reason to use perplex/OW only when you're about to take advantage of the power

Can someone explain to me why you would want to add +2 for a friendly Character's defense? Does it last till your next turn (unlike regular perplex)?
it's like this, friendly character a is adjacent to a group of unfriendlies. you're about to EE the lot of them putting your guy in harm's way perhaps.
"Hey! Head's up! We're electrocuting those guys!"
that's why you'd want to take up your defense.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints, the sinners are much more fun.
Can Saturn Girl's TC be used so that a friendly character that is feated with slippery use the FC's effect? If so then I guess it's at least one use for it's DV modifying side.

Nope. LoSH (pages 39 and 40):
In order for a character to use an assigned feat, all prerequisites for the feat must be printed on the character’s base and/or be visible on its combat dial through the stat slot. If using a feat requires giving the character an action, then the prerequisites must be present on the combat dial at the time the player gives the character the action. Combat values can’t be modified to meet the prerequisites to use a feat. A character that already meets the prerequisites to use a feat may have its combat values modified as long as the modified combat values still meet the prerequisites to use the feat. If a prerequisite power, ability, or symbol has been countered or altered on a character by any game effect (such as the Earthbound or Outwit powers), the character may not use any feats that have them as a prerequisite.
As a couple people stated above, with the current timing restrictions, the only real use for using her power on DV would be to avoid a friendly EE or PW attack.

That part's got me confused. What sort of action during your turn could an opponent take that SG's power -- which only affects friendlies -- would have any bearing on?

I just ran a 400 pt. Legion team using Phantom Girl (awesome for 40!), Young Superman, Saturn Girl, Timber Wolf, Shrinking Violet, Lightning Lad and BUCKY!! Bucky feeding Defenders to 2 characters with an 18 Defense on their 1st 2 clicks was awesome. I rolled three, count 'em THREE crit misses and still took the game. Oh and because they were all teens, I got 2 rerolls. REALLY fun. I recommend it.
Any idea on when/if Wizkids will assign key words to existing figs?

but you know.. that's pretty 'coincidental'.. last week I played an 800 point "teen" team, I was going to have Bucky on the team as well but it was Marvel or DC only, so my team ended up being:
Shrinking Violet, Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, Young Superman, Cosmic Boy, Jakeem Thunder, Supergirl (Veteran from Origin).
and guess what? I TOO rolled 3 crit misses in my game and barely won the game! (By a measly 68 points), unfortunately in that tournament the Judge wasn't allowing "Theme Teams" yet so I couldn't qualify to get those re-rolls which I needed lol...
On a side note, in my second match against my friend's SpiderFriends/F4 team, Saturn Girl's special power really helped Young Superman take a crack at all those 19 defenses... lol. (2 + Computer/Bookcase = Scary Young Superman lol).

Goken, didn't you forget somebody on your team? Because, as is, you only have 7 characters, and on a 800 pts build total you would need at least 8 characters to benefit from the themed teams bonuses.

Thanks again for that heads up. I forgot all about this post until now. Although I haven't tried it. I do remember reading something like that in a WK FAQ PDF. I wasn't thinking clearly before posting. (Knocking myself on the head)

That's the way it sounds to me...but your example can be made even worse:
End of your turn: SG uses her TP bonus on Ultra-Boy's Defense (to a 20 w/Impervious)
Beginning of opponent's turn: I use Outwit (free action) to counter Ultra-Boy's Impervious. SG's power shuts off. Emerald Empress takes a ranged combat action and does a RS at 8 range and blasts Ultra Boy's now 18 Defense...
