The Hulk is probably my favorite character and since I finally got a Green Scar I have decided to use him tonight. I know I probably won't win, but it should be fun. I just don't know what support pieces I'm going to go with....so my question is, what would be a better team with Green Scar?

I'd go with Green Arrow for a Mean Green Theme.

I would as well, get the Mean Green going. I think you're going to be in some trouble without any Fortitude on the Scar, but I think Green Arrow can compensate for that a good deal.

I agree with using Arrow. Just be ready to put a feathered shaft in anyone who can try to put 'Wits on the GS. If it's Stealth Outwit, don't be afraid to use GA as a shield for GS, then let GS Charge out from behind and do his thing in a big way. Having seen GS tentpoles, you can win with 'em. Just be careful with spacing, know who your #1 priority for attack is, and hope the dice come out your way.

Me, I'm the paranoid kind. I don't think I could play GS without Fortitude.

I was pretty sure Green Arrow would be the better choice with that running shot and 10 range. I should be able to get the first hit on somebody and with a well placed object he should have a 20 defense. I would be using Fortitude on Green Scar, but I only have the card from Legacy.

Wait... Are you saying you're denied playing the most effective team you could field (or team you would most want to field) because you only have a Retired version of a card that's been Reprinted very recently?

The continued adherence by WK to the rule proclaiming that Retired versions of Reprinted Feats are illegal is ridiculous! Does it really matter if Fortitude comes from Legacy or Avengers? Both do the same durn thing! See, I spend pretty freely on 'Clix, I think it's a great game, but this is a prime example of squeezing the wallets of your customers! Evidently, even if you have the Errata in hand, you need to have the new, shiny version of the card just in case you can't read the afforementioned Errata.

As regards the Prize Protected soon being the only legal one, it can't be a decision to reduce the number of people playing Protected (it's still among the absolute best of Feats and a necessity for any top-flight Constructed team), it will simply reduce the number of people ABLE to play Protected (i.e., to those who won Week 3 or shelled out big bucks for one/more than one on eBay) which only serves to breed disadvantage within the ranks of competitive play.

Viva la revolution! The proletariat will triumph! Let us use Retired versions of Reprinted cards!

I'm unsure if I can play that Foritude or not. I've never played at this venue so I'm unsure if they have the house rule that you can still use retired figures. I've played at some where you can, and some where you can't. I will bring it with me just in case I can play it. I completely agree though with what you're saying. I've always hated retirement. So what if somebody wants to use their "outdated" figure? Let them. They spent the money on the game before, let them play with the pieces they want.

i agree with the pieces, but with cardboard, they could have easily changed it up like brilliant tact. i hate protected(even though i won it) and the less you see the better. if i were you i'd build both teams, ask if you can use that card, and go from there. actually if i were you..i'd pack a flyer with running shot. there are plenty for 70 points. feats aren't bad. but what happens when you play against ahad, or any other person with psy blast??

i know you said your playing for fun but...nothing wrong uping your chances too. i don't play feats and i'd rather play sr wanda(avengers) and vet mocking bird. now you have three ppl. one can taxi/support, one can tie-up/beat ppl up, and the other can just detroy ppl. running two man teams does but you at a slight disadvantage but they...nothing you can do about it. three man teams usually puts you on the same level as everyone else(3 figs mean keyword bounus). whatever you play i wish you luck. i've seen green scar fall like a rock running the same type of way you plan to play him. good luck!!
