300 points of themed goodness. Blazing Skull and U.S.Agent provide the serious beat down while Thin-man stays back protecting himself and coming up with new plans to help everyone. Spitfire provides a little HSS to catch those annoying speeders and to taxi U.S.Agent, or Blazing Skull. My question is, what could I do to improve this team? Also to be noted I am lacking Protected as of right now, but will hopefully win it tomorrow. but thats a different matter of course.
It's actually the "Old" Invaders with U.S. Agent, but not the point. The point is that the Invaders need alot of help in order to be more than just Themed fun. Now don't get me wrong I love Blazing Skull and Spitfire, but the former needs Telekinesis and Automatic Regeneration, and the latter needs Armor Piercing. Sure Demon218 could break theme and retirement, but then it wouldn't be the Invaders ("New" or "Old"). Then there's the fact that he'd be paying seventy eight points for one damage with a move of nine and the same for attack. While she does have a very nice defense, there's still the chance that a cheaper figure with a high attack, let's say Shang-Chi, will catch her and then she's a yellow smear. In order to compensate Demon218 would need to add in Nanobots or somebody with Support. Thus making her, in my opinion, outclassed and over pointed. Which brings us to the team I posted. It may not be very mobile and it's allergic to Energy Explosion, but it's functional and, while Feat heavy, unified.

You clearly don't understand that the Thin Man wasn't a member of the original Invaders.
I didn't mention the USagent as it seemed fairly obvious that he doesn't belong on the team.
Let me get this straight, you don't consider Thin Man to be an "Old" Invader because he wasn't officially offered membership? Well I guess I'm sorry because he only debuted within the original Invaders' series, then fought along side them and then joined the Liberty Legion which was formed by Invaders in order to save Invaders. In the end, I believe he deserves at the bare minimum honourary membership and you don't. Personally, I'd rather not argue semantics with you and as such let's please move on.
oops, I'm sorry, I don't read comics that much and this was actually my Newest invader team. I posted my old one on another forum and just copy and pasted the new one here.
Sorry.
But anyways, I like the team with cap, but the only problem is even if I do make my Leadership roll, i can only move 3 of the figs. That was the main reason I had spit fire, make the roll or not, I can still start building contingency tokens from the first turn.
I do have a deep shadows, and I find that Nano armor is a really good deterent. I also don't have protected.
With my rendition, on the first turn you have three chances to get that Leadership roll. Which would allow you to move your entire team in to position first turn. While next turn you'd only have to push U.S. Agent for his Enhance, while still maintaining two chances at the Leadership roll. If you're still dead set on using either Blazing Skull or Spitfire, Captain America can easily be switched out for one of them.

And just for the record theres a difference between debating semantics and facts.
The fact of the matter is that in no source material was the thin Man ever considered an Invader, until the last series.
I agree he has much history with the team, but as a strict fact, the Thin Man wasn't a member of the Invaders until the modern age despite his history with them.
So no semantics are being argued over what so ever, just me telling you what some of the facts are.
Facts that you seem to know, and that are essentially irrelevant anyways as the player in question isn't looking for any sorta comics accuracy.
