Does this also effect the range of special objects such as Shield Disrupter and Separation Field Generator?

i would assume it WOULD half all the ranges in the game, so that would include the SO's range as well.

I may be there this Saturday though, if my girlfriend doesn't give me one of those looks for playing heroclix all day. I've never been to GMI...how big of a group do you have there? No, I think this BFC does not affect Shield Disruptor and Separation field generator: the disruptor says: "damage dealt to characters 4 or fewer squares FROM THIS OBJECT can't be reduced". In this sentence there isn't the word "range". The same for the other object. Instead this battlefield can affect the Laser Turret (range 4 that becomes 2).
It's different from the Deep Shadows BFC: "... All powers, abilities and effects able to affect characters more than 6 square AWAY instead affect characters up to 6 square AWAY".

The first sentence reduces characters' ranges. The second sentence, however, affects all ranges and effects that have ranges. It has been clarified that effects that affect something within a certain number of squares is an effect with a range. For example, Outwit can affect a character that is up to 10 squares away. If Shrunk is played, Outwit can only affect a character that is up to 5 squares away.

Since that's the case, the second sentence would reduce the ranged effects of objects like Separation Field Generator and Shield Disruptor.
