could just be me but are any of the other mod/players hoping to get one of their own roles?

A little bit, yeah, being you always kind-of wish you got to play in the game. You wouldn't have picked it if you didn't like the theme (plus it gives you a chance to see if you had the role working in a way that was or wasn't enjoyable for a player).

Totally. I want one of my own roles so bad I can taste it. And roles taste bad.
