I pulled him today and would like to know what you guys think of Crimson Dynamo. He seems like a versitle centre piece with low AV...

How might you use it? How have you seen it been used? What kinds of team would you use him in?

Low AV? Given his other powers I think the AV is in line. He's kinda scary.

I wouls say he's great, but now he is nothing compared to the LE Crimson Dynamo I just won...

I'd say it's pretty low tho.... starting at 10 then dropping to 9, then 8, thats pretty suckie for a 134 Pts. figure compare it to Rookie Ultron 12 AV on first click

Speaking of the LE, I wonder if he's worth his points; he seems to be identical to the V, only a bit more expensive at 147 and slightly more powerful on the first two clicks.

Tri, I think most figure's attack values will be kinda sucky compared to Ultron's :-)

For me, the low AV is a real bummer. I just can't bear spending so many pts on such a low value.

i personally use an experianc3ed one and have my super skrull carry him around, in my opinion hes great for finishing off opponetes after skrull does 4 damage to weaken him.

I wouldn't call the Crimson Dynamo's attack value low, but it could be better. Try using a couple of Hydra Op.(r). Then he's even more expensive, but he'll attack two points higher all the way down the dial if you can keep the Hydra support alive.

He's worth the points. He is faster, keeps his 10 attack for an extra click, and has Running Shot. Running Shot might not seem like a big deal, but in the right situations it's awesome. Especially if you are moving him out of an ambush position.

I think the lack of running shot means V CD has to be carried. At the venue I play in official games, this isn't allowed, which makes him a 134 point target (who will soon have a low AV, if it isn't at first).

youve got to put his AV into perspective. ALL new figures will have low attack values compared to ultron, firelord, bullseye because those figures were to powerful. now if you compare dynamo's AV to other Xplosion figures then hes pretty good, only being beaten out by a few figs, most of which are close combat figs. I think hes great, hes a lot cheaper and a more straight forward fighter than ironman. and he can dish out that nasty 4 point shot. hes great to play but a little dull to look at.

I played against the E-Crimson Dynamo in the championship round at a Marquee. I even had an E-Ultron on my team. Let me tell you he was the figure that scared me the most. I'm real happy my opponent rolled low when trying to attack my SWAT Officer I assigned to tie up Dynamo so I could concentrate on the rest of his team. E-Ultron was sweating rivets for awhile. Crimson Dynamo took a great pounding and kept on going that whole game. It came down to him vs my Ultron in the end before I finally managed to KO him.
