during a running shot, I have to be next to a guy with enhancement after the movement portion but before the attack portion in order to get the benefit, correct?
Enhancement, SHIELD, Hydra/PD, and any other increases that happen during the action to increase a stat must happen at the time of the attack... so yes, it's after the movement part but before the attack part of RS or HSS.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

enh, hydra, pd yes but sheild no. sheild needs an action to do it and do to the NAAT rules you cant give an action acter being carried. the only way running shot and sheild work is to begin next to the sheild guy, give him an action to activate the power and THEN carry him w you when you do the running shot.
i think thats my next hit song; its about a dance craze thats sweeping the nation "do the running shot"

The second part of that is what I was referring to.... RS/HSS to land next to one of those figs, then take the shot. I may have misunderstood that you implied the figure was being carried. But yes, in any case, you got it.

Didn't Nightmare, from the first set have Enhancement??
Yeah, but I don't think Hypertime (or was it Indy) had it... most people don't remember which set was first (and I still am hard pressed to say if IC or HT was first since I wasn't playing back then).

IC was 1st. HT came 2nd and brought w it HSS, poison, imperv, perplex, force blast, smoke cloud, willpower, CCE, and later OWAW supes; the 1st brick w HSS.
highest cost in IC was v kang at 190pts. highest in HT was supes at 219vet n OWAW at 236pts. the dc high cost domination began right at the start lol.
actually, you're right. Dr. Strange had it, so did nightmare. It just didn't come into play often as no one really ran those figures in my area.
some friends and i tried recently to make nightmare useful. we asked ourselves what his greatest assets are and decided on his high numbers and enh coupled w possibly some stunning blow action. we got excited when mercenary came out cuz we wanted to share those high AVs. unfortunately due to the restrictions on the card he could only be paired w rookie hyperion lol. not as kool as wed hoped lol.
yeah I had a nightmare, and never, ever played him. I never used Dr. Strange either--rainbow dials are a bit of a pain to play, and the difficulty in doing so was even more pronounced then with everyone being so frontloaded.
