What element/suggestion for strategy are you sick of reading about?
This isn't a rant, just something that came to mind: When people are suggesting a team build and strategy, what do you keep seeing that for whatever reason you really don't want to see suggested anymore as part of a general team build/strategy answer? There's no wrong answer as this is a subjective matter.
For me it's Warbound; an LE Feat that relatively few players neither now nor ever will have unless it's re-released in a more accessible form. Apparently though, at least some of those who have it delight in name-dropping it casually as if everyone worth addressing has it.
I'd say any LE, chase, or con exclusive feat or figure that isn't easily accessible. Not all of us can afford to spend $100 on single figures or are lucky enough to pull them from boosters or have the time and money to go to cons.

I don't get why people would tell another to run warbound; if they had warbound they'd probably already include it in their build if they wanted to use it.
I also don't care much for chases, though LEs are fine since they're usually under 10 bucks on ebay (of course, they're only really worth buying if you like the character or fit well into a theme build, otherwise there's usually an acceptable substitute).
Of course, I don't think it's really that hard to build a force for this game. Here's what I usually do:
pick a theme (BFCs are usually a big deal, unless it's a DC restricted format, in which case I no longer care).
Find out if they have Outwit available. If they do, you already have your first character. If they don't, you might want to pick a different theme.
find your big guns. Hypersonic Bricks, Move and attack abilities, guys that can crack reducers without using outwit.
Does the theme have a guy with PC? if so grab it, if not, you might want to load up with more perplex and find people that qualify for opportunist/contingency plan to make sure your damage gets through.
Sort out mobility. TK and fliers. I like for all my main attackers to have someone that can TK or cart them into position so I can get my attack asap.
Finally, consider the metagame. Can this guy beat the guys that like to bring chase supermen? can it beat the spectre? Can it stand a chance vs. colossal figures? In a 300 point game I'm less concerned about Tentpole teams, but when they can get proper support, if I can't stand a chance against such builds the team isn't worth playing.
