Giant, Giant Stride, and Carry are good updates for Giants, but I was looking for “Standard and colossal characters are adjacent to giant characters up to 2 squares away for movement purposes but not for close combat attack purposes. A standard or colossal character must be within 1 square of a giant character to make a close combat attack against it”, from the LoSH rulebook and could not find it.
One of the coolest things about Giants used to be, that a grounded charger could not charge them unless they were already only 2 squares away. A nice little trick, a pity to lose it.

You did not miss it: That ability is gone. Too bad; It was one of the better things Giants had going for them. I would gladly give up the Carry ability to have it back.
Naw, give me the carry ability. because it made since. How often do u see Giant man pick up Cap and carry him somewhere. the Zombie Giant man sculpt is carrying/eating black panther. so it about time.
And it would have been a lot easier to explain now that Giants ignore opposing figures for movement... (Though they still need to break away if I understand things correctly...)
yea it definitely makes Spectre less effective. How great was it to carry Sandman up and have him base someone, sharing the 18 or 19 defense of spectre. So he could lock them up while spectre bashed them without retaliation, well I guess he can still do that, but the charging thing is gone. I think the changes almost make giants worse than before. Spectre is the best giant - by far - these rule changes don't even effect him. He can already carry other figures and he already doesn't stop when moving, he's a flier. Blah
I think it was kinda goofy that the two-square adjacency rule existed for giants but not for colossals.
I mean, if you were a grounded no-range person, who's foot would you be MORE intimidated of running up to -- Giganta or Galactus?
NOT that I think the colossal rules should be more confusing, but they should be able to make close combat attacks out to about FOUR squares from their base...

I totally agree, with the 2-square rule out, it at least makes giants and colossal's more uniform.
