ok so attuma's wave covers anyone in his water terrain area, and does knockback to anyone adjacent to his terrain.......
1) does this mean if you occupy his terrain you get get knockback normal as well.
2) you can just sit in your starting area with atlantis rising and quake turn after turn...resting for push.
3)how would quake or tidal wave affect a shapechanger or skrull. Since they say you have to choose another action. Do they just roll and say i avoided it or since its an attack not directed at one person does it bypass?
A good defense will only last for so long, before you must crush your enemies outright!

It shouldn't.

If you plan on using TW, AR is not the best BFC to play.

Tidal Wave
Attuma can use Quake and Super Strength. If Attuma uses Quake while occupying water terrain, compare the attack total to adjacent opposing characters normally and to all opposing characters adjacent to (but not occupying) the area of water terrain occupied by Attuma. Characters adjacent to the water terrain are knocked back from Attuma in a direction of Attuma’s choice away from him.

It still goes off as long as one other character is affected, but that one remains unaffectred.
