In the "Strange but True" department, Maneuver works on this duo and extends to their Barrier SP. Put a Barrier up, make a close combat attack as a free action through the barrier, and then move the target adjacent to you. It defeats the purpose of the Hypertime TA, and you may not want an enemy adjacent when BB & MM are weakened at that point they get CCE - but it's an option.
Question, since MIRACLE CONSTRUCT states that "as if they occupied the square by the barrier terrain" wouldn't you also be able to put the target in any unoccupied square adjacent to the barrier terrain?
I understand the attack takes place "as if" they occupied the square, but they don't occupy the square. Therefore, I believe Maneuver overrides it.

Surprised at all the BB+MM love here. This is the one duo figure I can't stand. The mediocre range and attack values, single click of damage reduction and lack of move+attack at such a high cost make the solo pieces look better in my eyes. E Miracle alone is a stronger piece, especially with the Takedown feat. Bind a foe up with Plasticity and watch 'em squirm.
I love the characters and hate that their duo clix was so poor.

Yeah but on a GL theme team they are GOLD with all their outwit and their TA and duo attack.
I didn't mention in my first post, but the only versions I have of these two is(V) Big Barda and (E) Mr. Miracle. Although Mr. Miracle is an awesome click and quite a useful backup piece, I've only played her once and she went down without much of a fight.
By the way, what comic was that Big Barda clip from, that looked awesome?
Smaug: "My wingspan will blot out the sun!"
Thorin: "Then we will fight in the shade."
That comic was, IIRC JLA: The Nail (part 2?). That's where the duo character was from.

I worked through a 'brick's worth' of JL during the Starro Events without buying it outright, and got: SR Amazo, SR BB & MM, SR Batman 1,000,000 and SR Flash 1,000,000 out of an impulsive Borders' purchase. (I pulled V Mister Miracle during the Origins pre-release and failed to use him in the first round, go fig.)
I heart the Duo for pure utility. They were one of the only figures to go uncaptured, once, when I faced six Sentinels with a 'New Gods' theme.
