Just finished one of the worst games I ever played. Well, we had fun, but my rolls were absolutely punishing and I forgot to perplex at a couple key moments and it killed me. Not to mention that I didn't realize one can't use Support on a target with an adjacent opposing character...
Anyway, that's not why I'm here. My opponent used Phantom Girl and we weren't 100 percent sure about her special power. See below:
DISRUPTION: If Phantom Girl moves through or occupies the same square as an object, or at the end of a move action is adjacent to an object or an opposing character carrying an object, you may remove that object from the game.
Can PG move and remove every object she crosses along the way or just one? At the end of that move, if she stops adjacent to an additional object, can she remove that too?
We decided she can do it since this is really her only purpose/power.
Has anyone run into this?
Also:
OoTS Bats doesn't need to break away when he makes he's free action from one area of hindering to another, right? The power description never calls it a "move" action, so we also figured that he doesn't have to roll breakaway in this situation.

Right on both counts. There is no limit on PG's invocation of her power several times in a movement, and Bats power simply says "place" which removes the need for any rolling.

One thing to point out is that the "end of movement" removal of the adjacent object (or carried object) cannot be done after using Phasing because it needs to have been move action.

Just want to throw in my two cents and say that her special power is definitely not all she is worth. For 40 points you get 9 move with phasing, 18 defense, wildcard, 2 damage, 9 attack, flyer. That is great for the points. Late dial super senses gives her some more defense if you crack her 18 defense. She is a great tie up piece, especially if you have a mystics character on your team for her to copy. Have her tie up some of your opponents main figs and they have to hit that 18, and then take a click if they do. She can also crack toughness, which is nice for a tie up figure. She's one of the better tie up pieces in the game, on top of the fact that she can get rid of objects like the El Vine, SIF, kinnetic accell, etc. Not bad at all.
And to clear up your point a little for those like me who read it a few times to figure out.;

I have a follow up: Does she have to be the one activating the moving? . i.e. could you TK her here and there through a few objects

All you really need to do with her is phase around the board passing thru objects and remove any object in a square she passed thru fromt he game. If she wants to destroy objects someone is holding then have her end her movement next to them, but don't have her use phasing. If you want to remove an object under someone have her phase thru that square - phasing allows her to do this.

It is moving...and it WILL work.

It was ruled that because TK is moving, you could TK him his 8 squares, then move him even more with a move action and place smoke into the squares through which he was TKed.
We have the precedent that the TK is movement for these powers, so she certainly should be able to remove objects through which she was TKed. (But again she would not be able to remove one adjacent to where she stops because it is not the end of a move action.)

Yup..
I just added my point because upon my initial reading I saw, "it only works with a move action." And said to myself, "well what's the point if she's only going to be phasing to move, and has to stop upon entering hindering terrain (the object) without it.."
Then I re-read.. So I posted to clarify for the other people who read like me..

No, you're totally right here. I just meant as far as powers, I guess.
So, if I'm hearing you guys right, PG can run through a bunch of objects and remove them, but she she can't ALSO remove the object where she stops?
In our game, my opponent moved through two or three objects, then snatched away a carried object...

That would be legal...as long as it was strictly a MOVE action. In other words, not Phasing.
Thanks for clarifying. I never think of phasing as anything but a move action, but I guess it's actually a power action. Wouldn't make a difference most of the time, but when these questions come up it helps.
