Some questions/observations/tagging this thread for future discussion:
1) The light of hope can restore dying suns...I'm thinking hope will have a huge part of this. Of course I could be wrong because...
2) In Blackest Night #2
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Garth is battling one of the Black Lanterns for a few panels, and when he makes a reference to hope, it's almost like he opened the door to have his heart ripped out at that moment
Of course, we haven't seen any of the other Lantern Corps in action against the Black Lanterns, have we?
3) What do you think happens when the BL rings are fully charged? They're still at like 2%, right?
4)
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Also, I'm curious to find out the significance of being at peace is, such as Don Hall was in Blackest Night #2...is that something the heroes can exploit?
I'm sure I have tons of other random thoughts floating around...I'm really excited to see how this plays out (although I was still excited at the same stage in the game of 'Secret Invasion' and we all know how that turned out).
I have several theories. Also I'm playing the Black Lantern Corps in the Fantasy League Elite, so I bring part of my theories to the game.
This is what I wrote for my new game beginning this week:
“Batman”
“Why is Bruce Wayne so important?” I ask to myself looking the skull in my hand. And the ANSWER come to Me in a vision…
The Final Crisis…
The Positive Multiverse was dying in the “Final Crisis”.
Darkseid, the Ultimate god personification of Evil had the plan to create an army of “Batmen” with clones of Bruce Wayne.
In his search of total domination, the Evil god almost bring the Multiverse to the Realms of the DEAD.. In his path of destruction, Darkseid was just ONE step away from give EVERYTHING to my MASTER but then, just when the Multiverse was dying, SOMETHING happened…
Darkseid’s bunker was set in the center of a personal singularity. In that place he was one with the Multiverse. Bruce Wayne clones were surrounded the Darkseid singularity. and when Batman enter to that singularity and Darkseid strike him with the Omega Sanction Batman essence was launch and fused with the multiples Bruce Wayne’ clones and Batman was sent to EVERY positive Universe and to many distant PAST and possible futures. That is the reason of why there is a “Batman” in EVERY Universe!
YES. Batman DIE. But the Multiverse was reborn saved by Batman’ Willpower, not by just a “Miracle Machine”. Batman’s energy is now mixed with the New Multiverse.
That is the reason of why he is so Important! Bruce Wayne’ willpower is the NEW singularity; He is the nexus that connect EVERY positive Universe. Batman is the Bond that holds the New Multiverse! And he is also the useful KEY and BRIDGE that open the Realms of the Dead to the Multiverse of the Living!
I’m the Black Hand, I’m the ultimate Herald of Death and through Bruce Wayne’ remains I make the dead RISE!.."
I don't say it will happen, I just say that is fun for me, find a way to explain the Batman Mystery.
I am with simon moon5, Hal will become an omni-lantern, or white lantern, and beat back the black lanterns, maybe even bringing some of them (the black lanterns) back to life, returning some original Justice Leaguers.
I really don't think this will happen because
A) it is just to obvious
B) Geoff Johns said its not going to happen at a convention I was at (yes, he could have been lying, but I don't see it that way)
I do think Dove may have something to do with it though!
I'm going to hit him really, really hard with a big green boxing glove............ I'm kidding. - Hal Jordan

That's interesting...I know there has to be something to what happened with him in Blackest Night #2...
i don't think there will be a person that will wear a all the rings.
From what we have seen in the series so far the rings have a way of making each other stronger and weaker. when the green and blue ring combined it destroyed the red ring.
I just don't see one person wearing a all the rings.
There may be some event of one of the lanterns accepting all the emotions and realize that they need to embrace it and this creates the "white" lanterns.
A being that has accepted all the emotions of the spectrum is at peace and the black lanterns have no power over them.

1) The light of hope can restore dying suns...I'm thinking hope will have a huge part of this. I CAN'T REMEMBER WHERE I SAW WHERE GEOFF JOHNS WILL HAVE A FOLLOW UP TO BN, CALLED "BRIGHTEST DAY" IT MIGHT HAVE TO DO WITH THE BLUE LANTERNS
Of course I could be wrong because...

3) What do you think happens when the BL rings are fully charged? They're still at like 2%, right?I think it's will return to their master, I also think the ring readings is for the entire BL corps

Also, I'm curious to find out the significance of being at peace is, such as Don Hall was in Blackest Night #2...is that something the heroes can exploit?Depends if they are really at peace or not, I think it's the mental state they died in!

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.
I think Pa Kent may end up being at peace, and being immune to being resurrected by the Black rings. Discovering this will cause Ma Kent to be at peace, and immune from having her heart stolen by Kal-L.
Scar did say that the Guardians had purged themselves of emotions, and thus their hearts were useless. That's why she just killed them.

Yeah, but if you BBQ one of them lil blue guys for about 20 minutes per pound (15 if boneless), sauteed in onions, they are a tasty entree` to be sure.
