then explain the ruling in the sentinel rulebook, as i ve quoted above. it really didnt make sense at all to me because you would never be able to do such a thing, carrying and attacking someone, i wondered what that really meant. anybody know?

Many times those who speak this tongue create confusing, enigmatic sentence structure that challenges logic and common sense. Sometimes sentences lead nowhere, as in your example. Other times, this crafty language can contradict itself even within the same thought. Further confusing matters, even those that can speak WizKids-ese can't understand another who speaks it as well, and the two will battle for meaning of the same phrasing. Get yourself a good pocket translation book, because if you ignore those items that don't make any sense, they'll wind up in the FAQ and some judge will smack you with a revised idea that'll crush your tournament hopes.
GOOD LUCK.

This is like any other flying figure carrying someone. You move, drop the figure, then shoot. This simply means you can not move, shoot, then drop the figure. This matters because figure placement may block LOS or depend on a successful attack.

Turns out the line was redundant to the rules on carrying. In a WizKids document...imagine that.
