Okay, Uncanny X-men 138 is the 'review' issue after Jean Grey dies. Cyclops is narrating about everything the X-men have done, and on the 17th page of the issue (in my tpb), it cuts to Cyclops talking to Mr. and Mrs. Grey, and then Lilandra giving the Greys a matrix crystal (Crystal ball).
Right-hand panel, second row from the bottom. In the right-most speech bubble, Lilandra says
"So long as I rule, so long as Shi'ar endures, Jean Grey's name and memory will be "
What is that last word? I'd like to write it in.

Never boycotting Hcrealms. Ya'll are too much fun!
Did Claremont write that issue? I don't think there should be a last word in that sentence. I think it's "Old English" or "Shakespearean". It just means that as long as she rules and as long as the Shi'ar endures, Jean Grey will never be forgotten. Kinda sucks that Lilandra's dead and the Shi'ar Empire is presently in ruin, doesn't it?

Jean Grey who?
Oh. I saw a splotch and thought the word had been cut off in the print run.
Should I have put the "Jean Grey dying" thing in spoilers?
Crud.
edit: Yes, Claremont wrote it. There's just space in the bubble for a final word.
Unless it doesn't exist.
Then I'll put something in.
AND THEN THE WORLD IMPLOOOODES!

The context of the story should tell you. Were the Shi'ar happy, or upset with Jean.
If happy, try: Remembered
If not: Despised?
coming soon : nu52 Hercules

It's happy, but not much room. I was thinking "cherished" might work in the space.
Just checked the issue in question, and it is in fact "cherished"
You're good. But I'm magic!

The problem is that a lot of new players come from the "race generation" they want to define their worth by the "skill" they posses in playing a game of toy soldiers.
