View Poll Results: Do you think we'll see LE cardboard in the future
AMEN! I hated the cards from the get-go. I did use and collect
the cards because it was part of the game, but didn't agree with
it. I try to build teams with out feats if possible. At our venue
we rank players based on success. Level 1 is new, Level 2 are
older, better players. Level 2 players can't use feats and BFC cards
against Level 1 players. You don't know who you'll play, so if you do
build a team with cards and play a LVL 1, can't use 'em. Our group
is about 10 players. Half Lvl 1 and half 2. They ALL love it.
That is an interesting concept, but how will the level 1 players ever get any better if they don't play a level 2 player at their teams full strength? The level 2 players also have to build another variation of their team or basically 2 teams. Again, I never agreed with the introduction of cardboard to Heroclix and I actually went a long time without using any, but eventually I realized that to be competitive I had to start using a few. I love using my vet Azrael every chance I can, but compared to new figures at his price range he would fall a little short. A 5 point Lunge card makes a big difference in his playability. Feats are as much a part of the game now as the figures are. I don't agree with abusing feats like Warbound, but other ones do help to make a less playable figure playable. Again, I didn't agree with feats at first, but I think the 10% rule has helped things a lot in terms of abuse and I do use them myself now. I think that by not letting your level 1 players play a level 2 player at full strength you are cheating them a bit. A good player will learn to adapt and eventually win over another through trial and error. That's what makes a medium level player good and a good player great. Of course you will have the players that are just plain lazy and don't want to have to think and work at defeating their opponent. Those players are easily pointed out as the ones that are always calling for rule changes. You can see that on these boards very often. Unfortunately, the game designers often bown to these players, so that they don't have to listen to them anymore. Unfortunately, what they do not realize is that there will always be powers, rules and games mechanics for players to exploit no matter how how many times they change the rules to please them. Many good games have gone the way of the dinosaur because of that very reason.

Wall of text hits you for 8 clix of damage.
There was a Robocop III you know (so don't be racist)
I dont think cardboard should have ever been LE prizes and I hope it never comes back.
Figures, and Special objects, even Event dials are questionable to be. No one uses them in my area. They don't seem to enhance the game at all.
