Is it true I would not have line of sight from my Friendly click to an opposing click? Example:

E=elevated terrain, G=clear grounded terrain, F=friendly character, O=opposing character

Firing down from elevated if the only red line you cross is in your square (which it is in this case) then your line of fire is OK.

of course in a corner like that the only line of fire you can draw to non-elevated figures is on the exact diagonal- one square left or right and he'd be safe.

Edit- assuming the friendly figure is on elevated? I just realised this map could be a friendly non-elevated asking to shoot through the diagonal of two connected regions of elevated. in which case no he can't shoot- its blocked by the elevated, since diagonal lines of fire pass through the least bothersome of their adjacent squares, but both block line of fire here (so diagonal of hindering/blocking is hindering, and diagonal of hindering/clear is clear)
