Iv been working on alittle fun themed team.. It's nothing major, just for casual gaming,
but if you can see any improvements please be sure to let me know! ^^
Superman Robot - 100.
/w Rip It Up - 20, Nanobots - 10, Alias - 3.
E OMAC - 83.
E OMAC - 83.
E OMAC - 83.
R OMAC - 59.
R OMAC - 59. BFC: Power Dampening Field. Special Objects: None (As of yet) Total: 500pts.
The basic tactic around the team is plenty of Outwit, Superman Ally team ability via Wild Card, allowing for more Outwit, countering Superman Robots low damage by throwing Rip It Up on him, alongside the support gained via Perplex, longevity via Nanobots+Power Dampening Field, strong melee potential and ofcourse alittle theme-team bonus.
Now It's not a great team I'll admit that, but iv reasonably been reading the new Blue Beetle comics, and via that got reading into Brother Eye and some of Infinite Crisis. Seeing the army of OMAC's I couldn't help but want a small team of them.
So feel free to post any improvements and suggestions ^^
You're friendly neighborhood Hat wearing Cat.
I'd opt for a Thwart on one of the E's. Not being able to outwit (because of Fort or Outsmart or what-have-you) can be problematic. Likewise, you might consider Outsmart for yourself.
The robot can lose its goodness pretty quick if not somewhat protected.
I love me some OMACs though. I've got a bunch myself and they have the Supes Robot in their box!

I love it!!!! I am working on a 1000pt team build myself. I never thought of using Superman Robot.
V Omac 109
E Omac 83x4
R Omac 59x9
972/1000
I dont know what feats I would put on it but thats pretty much how I would build it. I didnt think of using more vets because they were incredibly rare pulls.

Well the reason I'm not using Vets is for Points vs. Power I think the Exp OMAC's are simply amazing, well worth the points, plus in a swarm team you can't really go for the big expensive stuff.
Yeah Superman-Robot fits so well, Robot keyword, Superman Ally ability for the OMAC's Calculator Wild-Card to pick from, allowing them to ignore Stealth and Outwit/Target anyone they please.
Thwart is real nice, great to counter Fortitude and get some Outwit thrown out, problem is the cost, so I'd possible trade out Rip It Up to add it onto 1 OMAC (E), then spend the remaining points possible on that OMAC or SuperRobot, depending on what I can find.
I played a similar team. I suggest Protected on the Superman Robot.
If you think you can win map choice, consider investing in three Submerged feats (5 points each) for Experienced OMACs...and play the BPRD temple map. You have to drop Alias, but Submerged will serve you better.

And with a 6-fig themed team, I don't see why not. In fact, thanks to the Opened Hydrant special object, he should always be able to have water to hide in.
God is smarter than we are....
Visit Heroclixin'! Or check out my trade thread. Molly Hayes' KO list: HoT Ultron, HoT Thor, SI Iron Man, AV Wonder Man, SI Sentry, LE Diana Prince, R IC Ultron, Pretty Boy, CW Kang, IIM Thunderball, TW Catwoman, OP Red Hulk.
Special Objects: Opened Hydrant, Meteorite, Kinetic Accelerator. BFC: Power Dampening Field. Total: 500pts.
That's better, Have to say this build does look alot more solid...
Also, with Submerged, since the LoF to the E's are blocked, does that mean the Rooks can hide behind them?
Tho it'd be abit crappy putting the Rooks in water terrain.. Not sure if I should keep them in now, mainly have them for the perplex, since it is veeery nice after all.
Oh and any more suggestions for Special Objects? Our group doesn't often use them so I don't know any great details with them, gave most a read over and such but.. Yeah, any help is welcome ^^
If you have anymore ideas or suggestions please post! Loving all this help so far, again many thanks.

The Rookies start with Leap/Climb and Perplex, so they can "hang back" and then rush in if needed.
Special objects are essentially "unique", so you cannot play doubles of them. Also remember they cannot be placed in hindering terrain.
Just my opinions on Objects:
The Superman Robot need +1 on attack rolls IMO, so if the computer is available, use it.
If you think you can keep the Superman Robot on click 1, the dumpster/generator may be important.
On the BPRD map, opponents are likely to hang back, so the Kinetic Accelerator can help close the gaps.
Couldn't agree more, but whats the Computer Object? Can't seem to find.. or the Dumpster (Guessing you're not on about the Trapped Dumpster).
I remember seeing some 3D objects that looked like a Computer/Dumpster, Do they have rules? (Don't seem to be listed in the Units section)
They were the original 3D objects. The Dumpster is a heavy object that isn't destroyed when used in an attack, and it came in the Outdoor Adventure Pack. In fact, it's functionally identical to the Generator special object that came in the Legion of Super-Heroes starter. The Computer is a heavy object that adds +1 to your attack value when it's used, and it came in the Indoor Adventure Pack.
